Become a Pet Therapy Team

Thank you for your interest in Pets and Friends and our Pet Therapy Program!

We are always looking for individuals who are interested in sharing their pet’s unconditional love.

Pets and Friends offers three (3) intakes annually for new pet therapy teams:

February 1st – February 28th (Fully booked – thank you for your interest!!)
May 1st – May 31th
September 1st to September 30th

Applications will open on the first date of each intake date and remain open until all spots are filled. If accepted, you will be asked to participate in the steps to become a volunteer during your intake period so you can start visiting right away.

Did you know…

As a recognized AKC and CKC Therapy Dog Program, Pets and Friends’ Therapy Dog Teams are eligible to earn Therapy Dog Titles?

Both Therapy Dog Programs award official titles to dogs who have worked to improve the lives of those they have visited and are awarded based on the required number of visits.
